How many lessons will I need to get my P plates using the ACT logbook system?

The ACT logbook system requires a minimum of around 7 professional lessons, but the number you’ll need depends on your experience:

  • Up to 30 lessons may be required for learners with minimal driving experience or limited support from friends or family.
  • Bonus: You can gain 35 bonus logbook hours by completing eligible training courses.
